Demi Lovato has just joined the growing list of celebs that are not really a fan on Taylor Swift. The 24-year-old recently called out the country singer and her crew for blasting Katy Perry in her video for “Bad Blood.” According to Glamour, the singer/actress was highly disappointed in Swift for tearing down Perry. Lovato graced the cover for the magazine and sat down to speak about feminism and the “Bad Blood” singer in her interview.

“I think having a song and video about tearing Katy Perry down, that’s not women’s empowerment,” she said. “We all do things that aren’t, but I have to ask myself, Am I content with calling myself a feminist? Yes, because I speak out.” Lovato not only ripped into Swift, but she took the opportunity to speak out against Swift’s crew who made an appearance in the controversial music video.

“To be honest, and this will probably get me in trouble,” she said. “I don’t see anybody in any sort of squad that has a normal body. It’s kind of this false image of what people should look like. And what they should be like, and it’s not real.” A self-proclaimed feminist, Lovato is really passionate about the cause and has a hard time with women taking on the role and not living up to the responsibilities.

“Talking about it at all is doing all the work," she said. "And I think every woman does her part in some way. But I think in certain situations, certain people could be doing more if they’re going to claim that as part of their brand.”

A true woman of her word, Lovato is not backing down from her statements. The pop star took to Twitter to defend her views and beliefs that people should have more important stuff to worry about than what she says in interviews.

Perry and Swift have yet to respond to Lovato’s comments.
