Demi Lovato is an avid supporter of Hillary Clinton and we expect to see her this week at the 2016 D.N.C. In anticipation, we're looking back at this lovely Latina's style evolution from Disney Princess to Bombshell Beauty.

Demetria Devonne "Demi" Lovato was born August 20, 1992 and made her debut as a child actress in Barney & Friends. In 2008, at the tender age of 16, Lovato rose to prominence in the Disney Channel television film "Camp Rock" and signed a recording contract with Hollywood Records.

That same year she released her debut album, "Don't Forget," in September 2008; it debuted at No. 2 on the U.S. Billboard 200 and has been certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) for sales of over 530,000 copies.

Back then, Lovato's style was that of a typical teenager. For the 2008 American Music Awards on November 23, 2008, she selected a pretty white halterneck dress with ruffled skirt which she accessorized with a black belt and high heeled pumps.

In 2009 she attended the premiere of "Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience" wearing a simple back cotton minidress and embellished ankle boots and for the next couple of years she tended to stick to wearing a series of minidresses that showed off her shapely legs.

It was around the same time that Lovato became a judge and mentor on the American version of The X Factor in 2012 and 2013 that her style truly began to evolve into something that today is recognizable as being her own. Not that she stopped wearing the short-skirted dresses, but as she moved into her twenties, she began to incorporate a harder edge to her look by wearing specific items such as leather jackets, leather pants, black pants and tuxedo jackets.

In 2015, Lovato's fifth album, "Confident," debuted at number two on the Billboard 200. Its lead single "Cool for the Summer" peaked at number eleven on the Hot 100 and was certified platinum. That year saw Lovato appear in a variety of fitted pant suits and tuxedos that did justice to her curvy figure.

In September of that year, performing at the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas, the singer chose one of her fiercist stage looks to date. She shimmered in a sparkling black bodysuit with sheer panels over fishnets and high boots topped off with a marabou jacket.

She also began to favor sparkling and metallic surfaces. The black and gold Moschino gown she wore to the 2016 Met Gala was an absolute show-stopper with a print that paid homage to the Versace creations of the nineties. No word yet on what she will wear to perform at the D.N.C. but whatever she select is bound to be a knockout.
