Derek Jeter’s Girlfriend Lands Cover Of Sports Illustrated; See The Swimsuit Photo That Will Have Everyone Talking! [VIDEO]

Ladies and gentleman, boys and girls, the next Sports Illustrated swimsuit edition cover model has been announced…and it’s none other than Derek Jeter’s girlfriend! The ex-Yankee star’s girlfriend of two years, Hannah Davis, was named the next bombshell to grace the cover of the infamous Sports Illustrated swimsuit edition.

The 5-foot-10 Virgin Islands beauty was revealed as the next cover model on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon on Wednesday night. Other gorgeous models including Gigi Hadid and Emily Ratajkowsi star of the 2014 blockbuster Gone Girl, we’re also rumored to be on the cover.

The 24-year-old Davis is no stranger to the magazine. She premiered in its pages in 2013 and frolicked on the sand again in 2014. Davis is a former tennis player who was discovered as a teenager by photographer Ginny Edwards. She has appeared in campaigns for Ralph Lauren, American Eagle and Victoria’s Secret.

Hannah was given a heads up on Tuesday afternoon when SI Now and Managing Editor MJ Day, pranked her live. “Are you sure? Is it definitely printed already?” said a shocked Davis

“I told my mom there was no way I’d get the cover,” she said. “I told her ‘They do beaches for covers and I’m on a farm. There’s no way. It’s not possible.”

Davis was shot by Ben Watts at the famous, Tennessee Blackberry Farm and according to Day, it didn’t matter who was in the photo, or where the location was, Sports Illustrated choose the best photo they had. The issue is a dream come true for Hannah and we’d like to congratulate her on her accomplishment. Now if we could just find a way to trade places with Derek Jeter…
