The 2015 summer of Donald Trump may be over , as GOP underdog Carly Fiorina overtakes the mogul in the first New Hampshire poll following Wednesday's second Republican debate. Fiorina rose to the top of of the list with 22 percent of GOP primary preferring her, according to a Voter Gravity poll . Trump slid down to 18 percent, while Ben Carson got 10 percent and the remaining 2016 presidential candidates got far less. It’s still a long way from 2016 for Carly, but with a strong performance in the debate she could be opening up the race for a Fiorina Fall.

Fiorina criticized the bankruptcies of Trump’s hotel companies in Atlantic city. He blasted the layoffs she over say as HP CEO.

The mogul brands himself as a perpetual winner, while his rivals have said they are aiming for the long term in the GOP contest. If Trump slides in New Hampshire other polls, how will the candidate deal with flailing momentum?

Trump stepped further back from center stage on Friday, ceding the stage to Fiorina and other competitors. Trump was scheduled to speak at the Heritage Action Presidential Forum but canceled at the last minute citing an urgent business matter.

"Sorry to see @realDonaldTrump cancel on event today w/ Sen DeMint & Gov Haley. Filing for bankruptcy again? Perhaps 5th time is the charm,” tweeted Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal, echoing Fiorina’s criticism of The Donald.
