We've all known Drake for his amazing skills as a rapper but now he has reminded us once again about the talent that put him on the map- his acting chops! In his new short film Please Forgive Me, the rapper battles a South African crime boss with the help of his on screen girlfriend and Jamaican dancehall artist Popcaan.
While rumors have been running rampant about the rapper's relationship with Rihanna, if you were looking forward to the pair stealing a kiss in the movie, you can think again. The film which features a woman who has a striking resemblance to Bad Gal RiRi is none other than Fanny Neguesha. Sorry Aubrih fans!
Directed by Anthony Mandler , the short film features music from Drake's latest album Views, with much exposure given to the smaks hits "Controlla" and "One Dance" in the 21-minute feature. A mix of Indecent Proposal, The Bourne Identity and Taken, the rapper's action-packed feature is definitely one to watch.
Filmed in one week, in the Soweto township in Johannesburg, South Africa, this feature serves as the second visual to be released from his latest album Views. Outside of "Child's Play", the Toronto rapper has not put out any other videos despite having multiple smash hits from the album such as "Too Good" and "Pop Style".
