Remember when everyone was so excited that Ian Somerhalder of "Vampire Diaries." Well now everyone is pissed that he isn't playing Christian Grey in "Fifty Shades Of Grey," including, Mr. Somerhalder, himself!
Ian Somerhalder was totally the fan-favorite to play the coveted role of the protagonist Christian Grey, but he is not being cast because the author of the series, E.L. James just didn't see him as the right fit. And we are not the only ones who totally disagree about this casting decision.
Somerhalder who was vocal about his desire to land the role, was recently filmed landing at LAX and while he is out of the running for casting, that doesn't mean he cant be bitter! X17 online posted a video of Somerhalder discussing the casting of "Fifty Shades of Grey" with photographers. When a member of the paparazzi asks him, who is going to play the rule, he remarks, "I don't know, you tell me." Later after walking through the parking, the "Vampire Diaries" star quips that the role should go to "Jim Carrey."
