'Flappy Bird,' the insanely addictive mobile iOS game, is gone forever. Developer Dong Nguyen took to Twitter to announce the end of the game on Saturday. “I am sorry ‘Flappy Bird’ users, 22 hours from now, I will take ‘Flappy Bird’ down. I cannot take this anymore," wrote Nguyen. “It is not anything related to legal issues. I just cannot keep it anymore.” Not surprisingly, another game has risen to take its place: 'Ironpants' has risen to the top of the charts.

'Flappy Bird' was an internet phenomenon. It's creator, Dong Nguyen, was reportedly earning $50,000 a day in advertising revenue from the hit game. Yet Nguyen won't be selling 'Flappy Bird' bird anytime soon. "I also don’t sell ‘Flappy Bird’, please don’t ask," he Tweeted. However, there may be more in store for 'Flappy Bird' fans as Nguyen revealed: "I still make games." You can still play 'Flappy Bird' on your phone, however, the game can no longer be downloaded.

Meanwhile, 'Ironpants' has soared to the top of the charts to take 'Flappy Bird' place. Much like the addictive game, you control a small figure by tapping on the screen. However, this time its a small superhero-like figure in a mask and cape flying through small gaps in obstacles. The game is very similar to 'Flappy Bird', although it's maybe a little easier. You can download it from the iTunes App Store or Google Play. You can also find an online version here.
