Giuliana Rancic Takes 'High Road'
The E! News host opted to not trash Kelly Osbourne after her controversial statements about Latinos on "The View." Watch her response here! E!News

After the Kelly Osbourne backlash took social media by storm following her controversial comments about Latinos on "The View," we were all expecting a response from Giuliana Rancic. As you may recall, earlier this year on "Fashion Police," Rancic made a joke poking fun at Zendaya's hair that the Disney Channel star deemed racist. It didn't take long before Osbourne took to Twitter, threw her co-host under the bus and threatened to leave the show if things were not made right. As we all know, karma is a b**ch and it came back biting Kelly in the butt. It would have been extremely easy for Giuliana to kick the purple-haired personality while everyone was trying to flush her down the toilet, but instead she took the high road on the whole debacle.

"I'm not going to say, 'hey, can I sit out for this one?,'" Rancic said on E! News after he co-hosts reported on the Kelly Osbourne backlash. "I'm here, I'm present and I want to be part of this conversation. I thought long and hard about this and I know that just by seeing it on social media and a lot of your [the audience] comments, a lot of people want me to comment on this story. But here's the thing, I've decided to take the high road on this one because frankly I don't feel the need to comment because I think Kelly's comments on live television speak for themselves. So, what good is it going to do if I just fuel this and add a comment?" Considering Giuliana took the high road, there was enough shade in her response towards her former co-worker that we love her even more for it. It's like if she was vindicated for how both Kelly Osbourne and Kathy Griffin treated her earlier this year. Watch Giuliana Rancic take the "high road" and tell us what you think!

Kelly has since then issued a half-apology on her Facebook page following the incident: “I want to start by saying I ALWAYS take responsibility for my actions. In this particular case I will take responsibility for my poor choice of words but I will not apologize for being a racist as I am NOT. I whole-hearted fucked up today. I don’t want to bullshit anyone with lame excuses. Although, I was stopped mid-sentence by Rosie and couldn’t finish my point I will not let Rosie take responsibility for my words. I should have known better as I was on The View and it was live. I’ve learned a very valuable lesson. It is my hope that this situation will open up a conversation about immigration and the Latin community as a whole. By the way I clean my own fucking toilets.”
