"The glitter hair roots trend is something I’ve seen emerging for a couple years now and I think it’s super cute and edgy when done right," New Jersey hair stylist Karen Wiggins told Today. According to the expert, you just need some "clear hair gel mixed with your glitter of choice. Then carefully spread the glitter or clear gel mixture no more than one inch from your part by using a foundation brush or with your fingers."
