While the "GTA 5" Heists Update release date has yet to be announced, we are confident that more details will surface following the arrival of "GTA 5" for PS4 and Xbox One is on Tuesday, Nov. 18. Nearly a year ago, initial reports regarding the next-gen "GTA 5" title suggested that Rockstar would merely remaster the game for the PS4 and Xbox One consoles. With less than five days until the official "GTA 5" release, we're happy to see that the next-gen version will deliver so much more!

As we have previously reported, Rockstar Games has completely redesigned its graphics engine to render Los Santos to a whole new level. Draw depth and object density has significantly increased as well, giving "GTA 5" a much livelier atmosphere. What's more, Every blade of grass and every drop of water is painstakingly rendered in PS4 and Xbox One. Surprisingly, Rockstar didn't end there. According to the latest reports, the graphics in the next-gen "GTA 5" have advanced to the point where players can give playable characters a complete makeover. Everything can be modified from facial appearance to body shape. According to reports, an all-new First Person Mode will also be exclusively available for "GTA 5" on PS4 and Xbox One. Earlier this week, Rockstar announced that GTA Online races and games can support up to 30 players at the same time as well.

As you can see, the new "GTA 5" for PS4 and Xbox One is going to deliver a brand new open-world experience. Not only will Rockstar invest in enhancing GTA Online, but multiple reports confirm that the developers are working on a major Singleplayer DLC like the iconic "The Lost and Damned" and "The Ballad of Gay Tony." However, there is no word on the timeframe of the Singleplayer DLC release.

According to Rockstar, the new "GTA 5" for PS4 and Xbox One will require a number of tweaks and optimization fixes for game day. A patch will be available to fix a majority of the issues.

"In order to experience the game properly, please make sure you install this Update before playing (like all Title Updates, it will be applied automatically as long as you are connected to the internet)," stated Rockstar. "We will be looking closely at your feedback from the initial launch days on the new platforms to help inform other future dynamic tuning changes and Title Updates as always. And get ready for continuing free content Updates for Grand Theft Auto Online, including the highly-anticipated launch of Online Heists (which, to be absolutely clear, will be available for all four consoles to enjoy)"
