'GTA 5' Heists DLC Update: New Flare Gun, Thermite Bomb Weapons Leaked! [VIDEO]

The latest "GTA 5" Flight School DLC has been one of the most awesome updates for GTA Online to date. However, the highly anticipated "GTA 5" Heists DLC is the one we're all truly waiting for. According to earlier rumors, the Heists update will coincide with the release of "GTA 5" on PS4, Xbox One, and PC sometime in Fall 2014.

Now, "GTA 5" tipster ST3V3HACKER has shared with us an awesome new leak, which unveils a game source code that reveals new weapons that will be available in the Heists DLC. What's more, ST3V3HACKER also tweeted texture images of the latest thermite bomb and flare gun.

The weapons were allegedly set for release for the current "GTA 5" Flight School 1.16 DLC update, but were ultimately scrapped before launch. Now, we expect the new weapons to arrive for Heists. First, the flare gun could probably inflect serious damage within point blank range, but that is not its original intent. The flare gun may also be used to signal team members that may be traveling by air. It can also be sued to signal location for rendezvous or even to mark an for airstrikes.

Next, "GTA 5" is slated to introduce the thermite bomb, otherwise known as an incendiery grenade. Expect this to be an important addition to the "GTA 5" Heists DLC update as we are lated to pull off many new missions. Thermite grenades are one of the most destructive weapons in the real world. These explosives are capable of burning at temperatures close to 4000 degrees Fahrenheit. In fact, the thermite bomb could even burn underwater.

No doubt, the new weapons will add a new dimension of playing styles in GTA Online. Previously, we reported that the "GTA 5" Heists DLC will introduce as many as eight new missions for GTA Online. The new missions include a "Prison Van Rescue," "Drop Off Hooker," "Funeral," "Territory Takeover," "Fight Gangmate," "Cop Territory," "Ornate Bank Heist," and FIB Grab."
