'GTA 5' Money Glitch Update: How Not To Get Banned For Cheating [REPORT]

As some of you have already learned, Rockstar Games is aggressively cracking down on all "GTA 5" cheaters that dare to exploit money glitches on GTA Online. In the past, Rockstar responded to the glitches with a "GTA 5" update that patched the loophole. Now, rather than hinder gamers from cheating, Rockstar will punish cheaters with IP bans.

The news was reported by several prominent "GTA 5" YouTubers over the weekend. According to "GTA 5" leaker DomisLive, YouTube videos are often times the point of origin for the majority of "GTA 5" money glitch leaks. Because of this, Rockstar Games allegedly banned "GTA 5" YouTubers including LispyJimmy, Dynasty, Sernando, Sir Weed, and Glitch Master, for sharing glitch tutorials on their channels.

Beyond targeting YouTube channels, DomisLive reported that Rockstar Games have deployed undercover agents to monitor the lobbies and catch "GTA 5" cheaters red handed. Rockstar is not only banning cheaters' PSN and Xbox Live accounts, but are banning IP addresses, a far more permanent method.

If there are undercover Rockstar employees monitoring the GTA online lobbies, then no one is safe. Are money glitches a thing of the past? Rockstar certainly wants to think so. However, there is a very obvious solution to this obstacle-- don't exploit money glitches on a public room. Instead, it is safer to continue with the money glitches in solo sessions and private lobbies so that you can limit access to only friends that you know.

That said, DomisLive warned that even money glitching in the presence of friends can be risky. In the event that an argument erupts between you and friends, a bitter friend could report you to Rockstar for exploiting cheats on "GTA 5" Online. Our solution to that mess is to make an agreement between friends and conduct money glitches together. That way, if you go down, at least you won't go down alone.
