With the release of "Grand Theft Auto V" comes even more news! With the release of GTA 5 came the dissembling of Rockstar's latest video game installment, not because everyone hated the game, but because they loved it and wanted to know just exactly on the state-of-the-art game works! And now leaked data has revealed new consoles versions of GTA 5 for PC and PS4!
Code from a configuration file allegedly coming from a pirated Xbox 360 version of the game has appeared on pastebin, and apparently points towards a PC and PS4 version of the game. According to the code, there is a section detailing, "PC configuration overrides" as well as a line of "PC" code that states there is in fact a forthcoming GTA 5 PC release date. In addition, A PS4 version of GTA 5 was also discovered in the code under the platform name of "Orbis," which was the original code name of the PS4 back when the development kits were being handed out to developers.

"Grand Theft Auto" does in fact have a history of releasing PC games; therefore the PC release of GTA 5 shouldn't come as a huge surprise to fans of the franchise. In addition, iDigitialTimes reported that last month, Chris Evenden, an executive from Nvidia revealed the existence of a GTA 5 PC release during a conference call with multiple investors.
Evenden discussed the PC gaming market and GTA 5's potential success with a PC release saying, "The PC market is evolving. As entry-level laptops face pressure from tablets. Yet sales of specialty PCs like gaming systems and workstations continue to grow. The disparity reflects how consumers use these different classes of PCs. Many consumers look for PC as a general-purpose device they can use for browsing, email, and social media video. But much of this can be better served by a tablet. In contrast, gamers are preparing their systems for a strong roster of games coming this fall, including blockbuster franchises, such as Call of Duty: Ghosts, Grand Theft Auto V and Assassin's Creed IV."
In addition to the PC release, the PS4 release seems to make sense for Rockstar too. The GTA 5 team at Rockstar works on an astonishing budget of $265 million for both development and marketing. Making "Grand Theft Auto V" the most expensive video game ever produced! The enormous GTA 5 budget supersedes even the largest video game budgets, before GTA 5's record breaking budget, the most expensive video game produced was "Star Wars: The Old Republic," with a budget of $200 million. Therefore, it makes sense that Rockstar would plan on releasing GTA 5 for the next-gen PS4 home gaming console.
