A war is about to kick off on Telemundo with the premiere of "Guerra De Idolos," a new musical telenovela. The series will have the music industry as its backdrop and audiences will have the opportunity to see how this empire works and it's not as glamorous as it might seem. The highly anticipated drama series stars Alberto Guerra, Maria León, Alejandro de la Madrid, Juan Pablo Medina and Daniel Elbittar as “Julio César Solar,” a Regional Mexican music idol. The talented cast also features José María Torre as Isaac Solar; singers Pedro Capo, Christian Pagan, Luis Figueroa and Alex Brizuela; Marco Treviño, Carmen Beato, Fabiola Campomanes, Fernando Carrera, Sofía Lama, Viviana Serna, Alex Garza, Sheryl Rubio, Erika de la Rosa, Eduardo Tanus, Alex Speitzer, Pamela Almanza, Vince Miranda, Ximena Ayala, and Claudio Lafarga, among others.
Telemundo has no set date for the premiere yet, but the teaser trailer went live last night to much fanfair. María León debuts as a television actress with this project. People are familiar with her work as the lead vocalist of Playa Limbo. The singer recently left the band to focus all of her energy on the Mexican series and follow her passion.
