The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce announced the “Class of 2015 Star Honorees,” 30 celebrities who will be getting their stars on the famous Hollywood Walk of Fame. Among these faces that will be seeing their names in the famous walk starting next year, are three Latinos who have made their ways into Tinseltown. Their hard work and dedication has finally paid off, and the dreams they had when they first came to America are exceeding their expectations.

Sofía Vergara, Pitbull and Eugenio Derbez are the three lucky Latinos who will get their stars in 2015. Sofía has positioned herself as one of the most influential Latino actresses in the US and the highest paid TV actress for second year in a row. Not only is she hilarious in “Modern Family,” but she has also taken advantage of her heritage, accent and fabulous curves to go beyond TV. She’s made several appearances in movies, and is starring in a new one with Reese Witherspoon.

She has a line in Kmart, going from gym clothes to home décor, and has several endorsement deals in her bilingual portfolio. She's signed contracts with Diet Pepsi, Covergirl, Rooms To Go and thyroid medicine Synthroid, in addition to Spanish-language commercials for a laundry detergent, Comcast and State Farm insurance. Meanwhile, Pitbull has tackled the entertainment business through music. There’s not one single Pitbull song that you haven’t heard on the radio. Pitbull turned himself into a global brand by partnering with some of the biggest names in the music industry like Ne-yo, Jennifer Lopez, Christina Aguilera, Chris Brown and more.

Like Sofía Vergara, Mr. Worldwide or Mr. 305 also has a portfolio of endorsement deals that attract Hispanic consumers to the everyday brands. The products range from Dr. Pepper soda drinks to Kodak cameras. Not only is Pitbull successful in music and business, but he also translated his famous flare into the big screen as Bufo in Fox’s animated film “Epic.”

Eugenio Derbez became a major hit in the country when his movie “Instructions Not Included” hit the United States. The Pantelion Films feature only opened in selected theaters, but somehow it broke records in its opening weekend, becoming the United States’ most successful Spanish-language film ever. Derbez was already a major name in Latin America, and now has become well known in the United States as well.

“Instructions” has allowed Derbez many opportunities, TV appearances, future collaborations with Hollywood actors, and becoming the biggest crossover star of 2013. "We know that the new selections represent the best of the entertainment industry, and will be a great addition to the Walk of Fame for both the Hollywood community and fans from around the world who visit Hollywood every year," Maureen Schultz, chair of the Walk of Fame selection committee for 2014-2015, said. We sure hope next year we see even more great Latinos who are succeeding in Hollywood!
