"inFamous: Second Son"
"inFAMOUS: Second Son" patch update hitting PSN Thursday. Sucker Punch

A new patch update for the hit-title "inFAMOUS: Second Son" will arrive on Sony's PlayStation Network Thursday April 16. This new patch is said to tackle a number of fan request since the games release March 21.

The main features of the patch update are the ability to disable the titles in-game heads-up display (HUD). The patch will also add the ability to get an unobstructed screenshot and to change the time of day at your discretion. However, you must beat the game in order to get this feature.

Gamers will also be able to have the option to cap the frame rate at 30 FPS but just to put gamers at ease the announcement did mention that this is not a lock.

"This is a frame rate cap -- not a lock it won’t eliminate the rare instance of a dropped frame during gameplay."

Lastly, the patch will include a unannounced mode called "photo mode" which allows players to use a number of different camera tools to capture quality pictures. The announcement blog mentioned this new mode was inspired by the gamers. Plus Sucker Punch released a video showing off the new mode which you can check out below!

"We were totally amazed at the quality of the screenshots you all shared. Amazed. So we thought we’d try to help you all out."
