Jane The Virgin' Season 3: Gina Rodriguez Would Love To Have Prince Royce On Show

"Jane The Virgin" has been renewed for a new season and the cast is stoked. Earlier this year, the CW Network announced that it was renewing the dramedy series for a third season for the 2016-17 season. Leading lady Gina Rodriguez immediately thanked all "virginators" on social media and shared a celebration post with co-star Jaime Camil. With a new season on the way, Gina reveals who she would want to have as guest star on the show.

"I would love for Prince Royce to come on the show. I think he is awesome," she told Latina in an exclusive interview. "I know he’s getting into the acting world, so I’m like ‘Come on over here. come act with us. Please!’ I would love to have him on especially because we’re doing it in Miami, and with the tone of our show I think it’ll be a really cool integration," she added of the bachata crooner who recently made his acting debut on FOX's live special "The Passion."

"There’s a lot of people I would want on the show. That being said I’m not told anything about the storyline. I have no idea where people would fit in, if I knew what was happening, I'd certainly have plenty of candidates in mind," she said.

The 31-year-old actress also fessed up that she feels extremely grateful to be working with an open-minded team. "I’ve been so lucky to have a creator that’s so open-minded when it comes to in bringing on different people from Britney Spears to Ke$ha. It’s incredible. I have full confidence that she’s going to have some awesome guest stars for us like previously Rita Moreno, come on!"

Despite such an amazing creator, it's yet to be seen if she will grant the Golden Globe winner's wish and invite the "Culpa Al Corazon" singer on the show. Rodriguez, however, revealed that the guest stars are quickly jumping on board the upcoming season three. "We also have Derek Hough from Dancing with the Stars, in an episode that will be airing soon. He’s absolutely incredible and that whole episode is amazing," she said.
