With hours left in the Major League Soccer transfer window, all eyes are on Manchester United and their unwanted star, Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez.

Rumors have been swirling all week long as to where the Mexican international may land with the MLS on the Chicago Fire. However, last minute news has broke from Old Trafford that sources confirm the Houston Dynamo have also made a last minute pitch for Chicharito's services.

Chicago's offer is for $10 million per season, but with the transfer window closing at midnight EST on August 6th, Hernandez literally has hours to decide if he wants to cross the pound and play in the United States.

Manchester United's manager Louis Van Gaal has all but confirmed that he's not interested in keeping Chicharito, and the decision to send him to Real Madrid last year on loan makes the odds of Hernandez wanting to stay at Old Trafford astronomically low.

Sources inside Chicharito's camp have leaked that the star striker would like a move to the Tottenham Hotspurs, a team with mutual interest. However, the $18 million offer from West Ham United that is already on the table is certainly more than the Spurs can afford at this time.

The English Premier League kicks off in two days, and surely Man U would like to move Chicharito before that time. If no news of an MLS transfer occurs in the next few hours, surely it will be a two-horse race between Tottenham and West Ham.

It's possible the Spurs could move players to make room for Chicharito or even seek backup options like Queen Park Rangers striker Charlie Austin.
