The legacy of “La Diva de la Banda” lives on! Jenni Rivera’s daughter Jacqui Rivera gave birth to her second child with husband, Mike Campos. The couple whose engagement was the spotlight of her late mother’s reality show on mun2, showcased their wedding day to the world with the primetime special “Jenni Rivera Presents: La Boda de mi Hija,” and now they are showing off their beautiful baby girl. The healthy baby girl was born this past weekend, and the proud parents named her Jenavieve Faith, perhaps paying homage to her mother who passed away in a tragic plane crash near Iturbide, Nuevo León, Mexico, on Dec. 9, 2012. Jenavieve Faith was welcomed to the world with her loving family surrounding her, including big sister Jayla Hope who is the daughter of Jacqui from a previous relationship.
In addition to Jenavieve’s big sister, Jacqui’s older sister Janney “Chiquis” Marin Rivera was also ready to welcome the new baby into the world. Before meeting the bundle of joy, Chiquis filmed an Instagram video in the delivery room of both Jacqui and Mike Campos, who were eagerly awaiting the baby’s arrival. Even though she was about the give birth, and the couple was set to become parents, both Jacqui and Mike seemed calm and collected in the video, waving and smiling with excitement. Since the baby’s birth both Mike and Jacqui have posted sweet snapshots to their personal Instagram pages to show off the newborn. Mike posted a black and white picture of Jenavieve’s little legs and wrinkly baby toes, still sporting hospital ankle bracelets. Following her husband’s lead, Jacqui revealed a tender father -- daughter moment of the newborn tightly grasping her dad’s much larger hand. Despite the tragic loss of their mother, it seems that the Rivera family is learning the joys of life once again.
