Jennifer Lopez's sexy performance at the Mawazine festival in Morocco has been stirring up a lot of drama and controversy recently.

The pop singers sexually charged performance in Rabat disgusted Islamic leaders, who called it “unacceptable” and a “breach of public decency." Which led to calls for the country’s communication minister to resign, according to BBC News. Morocco’s minister of communication Mustapha Al-Khalfi has been criticized for allowing the concert to air on public television and people want him out. Now it seems the situation has gone a step further.

According to Elsavador.com a Moroccan citizen filed a complaint against Jennifer Lopez saying the artist offered a "sex show" at the Mawazine festival.

Mukhtar Talihi apparently filed with the attorney general of the king in the Court of First Instance of Rabat a complaint against the singer and against Moroccan Culture Association, responsible for organizing the Mawazine festival in Rabat, the most important and popular musical event country.

Mohamed Kassi, lawyer of the complainant explained that his client is accusing Lopez of "indecent exposure", a crime punishable in Morocco under Article 483 of the Criminal Code. The lawyer added that the show brings together several elements that justify their persecution as it included, "deliberate nudity, obscene acts and signs, and there was nudity in a public place."

The show J.Lo performed was broadcast on public television in front of two million people and angered several members of the Justice and Development Party, head of the Moroccan government and th4e nationalist Istiqlal Party, whose youth organized a sit-in protest outside the headquarters of the channel.
