Joe Flacco Dumbest Purchase Ever: You Won't Believe What Ravens Quarterback Bought

Baltimore Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco is under contract for $22.5 million this season. When you’re making that much money, you’re probably going to make a few regrettable purchases.

Flacco was recently asked about what his dumbest purchase ever was and it may surprise you.

“The dumbest thing I bought were … how many did I buy? … I bought a handful of massage chairs a few years back, via the team's official site. Like the big Brookstone ones that put you all the way back,” said Flacco.

Flacco didn’t say exactly how many massage chairs he bought, but they usually are expensive.

“Used them one time, then they just sat in my basement. “As big as they are, I still didn’t really fit in it,” Flacco said. Flacco went on to say “I was like, ‘What do you guys think? Should I get some of these? “Of course Pitta, he’s the ultimate peer pressure’er, the person who wants you to do dumb things. So he started getting in my ear about doing it. I might have gotten five of them, a couple thousand dollars each.”

Flacco is under contract with the Ravens until 2021 in which he will make more than $100 million. We’ve seen athletes buy a lot things they don’t need or use over the years, but this one hardly cracks the top 10. It’s safe to say Flacco won’t end up on ESPN’s episode of “Broke.”
