Donald Trump being named the new president-elect has not gone over to well with many people. While some people are elated, many people are still licking their wounds that "The Donald" will actually be taking office come January. Although Trump is pleading with Americans to give him a chance, a federal judge is telling people to get with the program or leave!

According to FOX News Latino, Judge John Primomo who presided over a citizenship ceremony had some choice words for attendees. Primomo told the attendees that if they don't like that Trump will be president, they need to leave the country.

“I can assure you that whether you voted for him or you did not vote for him, if you are a citizen of the United States, he is your president,” Judge John Primomo said. “He will be your president and if you do not like that, you need to go to another country.”

While many people are shocked by his statement, Judge Primomo is not saying anything that most Trump supporters haven't said since he was elected. However, what made the statment awkward was that the ceremony at the Institute of Texan Cultures Thursday night was a melting pot of different races.

The federal judge went on to criticize American protestors who carry signs saying ‘He’s not my president,’ including some in San Antonio. Primomo lashed out against NFL players such as Colin Kaepernick, who take a knee during the national anthem.

“I detest that, because you can protest things that happen in this country; you have every right to,” Judge Primomo said. “You don't do that by offending national symbols like the national anthem and the flag of the United States.”

Although Trump is the president-elect, America is supposed to be a land where people can have difference in opinion and be allowed to feel however way they feel. Forcing people to support a president who in their eyes do not meet their standards is blasphemy.

Let's discuss!
