It's been 12 years since Julio Iglesias last released a Spanish-language album; however, he and his native tongue are making their comeback to keep crooning his beloved fans.

To prove that he's not going anywhere, the recording artist released his new romantic tune "Fallaste Corazon" (You Failed, Dear), first single from his forthcoming album "Mexico - Julio Iglesias."

Iglesias first performed in Mexico and released a tribute album to the country in the '70s. With the forthcoming production, he's paying homage once more to the country that was fundamental in his rise to fame.

“Mexico is a country that I love dearly. The Mexican people have given me many indelible moments in my life. I know this country as if it was my homeland, and I always carry it in my soul," the 71-year-old singer said. "This record is dedicated to the outstanding composers who, generation after generation, filled our lives with love, nostalgia, memories and moments. After all these years, they remain alive in our souls. With all my respect and profound admiration," he added.

Iglesias, who sings in 12 languages, has an honorary doctorate from Berklee and is the Best-Selling Latino Artist of All Time, states that the Mexican music is "universal" and its composers are "legendary." "Mexico - Julio Iglesias," scheduled for release on September 18, will include 12 songs paying tribute to some of Mexico's greatest songwriters.
