Keith Urban may be a little blue because his journey on “American Idol” is coming to an end, but he also has a lot to celebrate! The country star performed “Wasted Time,” the first single of his new album “Ripcord,” on the stage of “Idol” last week and we couldn’t get enough from it! And neither can wife Nicole Kidman!

The Oscar-winning actress gushed about her hubby’s latest studio album at the Academy of Country Music Awards red carpet and gave a special shout out to his collaboration with Mr. Worldwide himself. “I definitely danced to that one,” the 48-year-old Australian babe said about “Sun Don’t Let Me Down,” Urban’s duet with Pitbull, which was co-written and produced by living legend Nile Rodgers.

“It’s about needing a few more hours of the night to seal the deal. So, ‘Don’t come up, sun. Stay right where you are!’ That’s the gist of the song,” The “American Idol” judge told Entertainment Tonight. “Who better than the sexy swagger of Pitbull to seal the deal? He was killer on it. I can’t wait for people to hear it.”

The 48-year-old singer, who will kick off his “Ripcord World Tour” in Nashville on April 12, also dropped another big name during his interview. “Carrie’s on the record – Carrie Underwood’s on there, as well,” Urban casually revealed before hitting the ACMs stage on April 3.

“I’m seriously chomping at the bit to kick off this tour,” Urban told Broadwayworld.com. “We’ll be playing a lot of new music from Ripcord, all new production, new cities where we’ve never played…and Brett Eldredge and Maren Morris? It’s gonna be potent and unbridled!”

There’s still no word on Pitbull or Carrie Underwood's participation in Urban's tour, but we are certainly hoping for surprise appearances in all the major cities in the U.S. “Ripcord” will be available on iTunes on May 6.
