Square Enix has confirmed they will host their own E3 press conference this year. Not only that the company revealed the E3 conferences time and date. According to the company it will be held on Tuesday, June 16 at 9:00 a.m. PDT (12:00 p.m. EDT/5:00 p.m. BST) and 1:00 a.m. in Japan.

According to Gematsu Square Enix promises, "a dose of some exciting news" before E3 begins later that day. Unfortunately that's the only teaser the publisher has shared saying fans "just have to wait and see." The Square Enix conference will be live streamed on Twitch and YouTube.

As to what Square Enix will present at their conference is the great unknown. Major projects in development at Square Enix include "Deus Ex: Mankind Divided," "Final Fantasy XV," "Rise of the Tomb Raider" and a new "Hitman" project. It is not clear whether the publisher is preparing to reveal other major projects beyond this but fans are desperately hoping to see some information regarding "Kingdom Hearts III." We won't know for sure if the title will be included in the conference until June but until that time check out these other exciting details about "KH3."

1. Release Date - According to Cyberland we will see the next "Kingdom Hearts" title February 2016. The site further reports that the game will be detailed at the Electronic Entertainment Expo 2015 in June.

"It can now be confirmed that Kingdom Hearts 3 would be available by February of next year. You guys can expect gameplay trailers and cinematic trailers at E3," Cyberland said.

2. The E3 2014 trailer for "Kingdom Hearts HD Remix 2.5" is actually the opening scenes for "KH3!" - The games director Tetsuya Nomura revealed that the end of the E3 2014 trailer for "Kingdom Hearts HD Remix 2.5" is actually the opening for "Kingdom Hearts 3." This makes total sense and now fans know what to expect when the game launches.

3. "KH3" will use Unreal Engine 4 - This news came last month when Square Enix announced that it wouldn't be using its in house software to develop "Kingdom Hearts 3"but rather switch to Unreal Engine 4.

4. Sora and Riku to get new outfits - This is the first time characters from the franchise will get a wardrobe change. Fans should also expect to see Kairi and others in new digs as well.

5. The keyblade can transform - According to IGN, the keyblade remains as the primary iconic weapon for the game, since the first Kingdom Hearts series. However, this time around the weapon totes some new features. It can transform into another weapon such as guns. By transforming the keyblade adds variety in the player's battle style.

6. Developers and Platform - The game is developed by Square Enix and published by Disney Interactive Studios. While can be run in the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, it will be the first Kingdom Hearts game that will operate on a Microsoft platform.

7. "Final Fantasy" characters - New Final Fantasy characters are also rumored to join the game such as Noctis, Balthier, Fran and the Warrior of Light, savecontinue.com reports.

8. Playable characters & cameos - Movie Pilot claimed that Donald, Goofy, Rikku and Lea are now playable characters as CrossMaps revealed Snow White and the seven dwarfs, Peter Pan, Mulan, Tarzan, Simba and Captain Jack Sparrow will make there comeback in the game.

9. New Worlds - KH13 previously reported that the list of worlds that are included in "Kingdom Hearts 3" such as "Aladdin", "Alice in Wonderland", "Peter Pan", "Snow White", "Wreck It Ralph", "Frozen", "Lilo and Stitch", "Star Wars", "Tron" and "Tangled".
