Kingdom Hearts 3
"Kingdom Hearts 3" release date new revealed. Square Enix

We will finally get some legitimate news regarding Square Enix's "Kingdom Hearts 3" title come this November. According to Gaming Bolt Disney will be hosting another D23 Expo in Japan Nov. 6-8 and Hajime Tabata has confirmed that the title will indeed be presented. He also revealed that the development for the game is good saying:

“We have some interesting things planned. There will be Kingdom Hearts III news, and various things, I think. Development on Kingdom Hearts III is going smoothly, but there will also be new announcements connected to it. As one of those new announcements, I think we should be able to announce a smartphone-specific development for the series in short order.”

We are definitely curious about this smartphone-specific development Tabata spoke of but more importantly we hope that the company will announce a release date for the title as we have been waiting for what feels like ages now.

Square Enix has confirmed they will host their own E3 press conference this year. Not only that the company revealed the E3 conferences time and date. According to the company it will be held on Tuesday, June 16 at 9:00 a.m. PDT (12:00 p.m. EDT/5:00 p.m. BST) and 1:00 a.m. in Japan.

According to Gematsu the company promises, "a dose of some exciting news" before E3 begins later that day. Unfortunately that's the only teaser the publisher has shared saying fans "just have to wait and see." The Square Enix conference will be live streamed on Twitch and YouTube.

As to what Square Enix will present at their conference is the great unknown. Major projects in development at Square Enix include "Deus Ex: Mankind Divided," "Final Fantasy XV," "Rise of the Tomb Raider" and a new "Hitman" project. Hopefully we will also see some news about "KH3" as well, but if not then we'll definitely see it at D23.
