"Kingdom Hearts 3" switches over to Epic Games' Unreal Engine 4. Square Enix

The release date for the highly-anticipated titled "Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 Remix" has finally been set. The news come from Sony's PlayStation blog. The announcement reads:

"We’re absolutely thrilled that the day has been set. You’re hearing it first here that on December 2nd, 2014, Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX will launch right in time for the holidays! You can relax and dive into the series as the Kingdom Hearts saga continues in this HD compilation."

"Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 Remix" will include "Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix," "Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep Final Mix," and "Kingdom Hearts: Recoded."

The announcement also revealed an action-packed E3 trailer, which can be seen below. It was also revealed that co-director Tai Yasue will be doing a Q&A on Square Enix Presents on June 10 starting at 3:30 p.m. Pacific. And if you didn't know Square Enix Presents is a live broadcast of everything Square Enix at E3.

It was also revealed the staff from Square Enix Europe and Square Enix America will be talking about everything, and we mean everything, regarding "Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 Remix," June 11, 2014 starting at 2:00 p.m., Pacific.

"Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 Remix" was orginally announced in October 2013 following "Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 Remix."
