In Univision’s new music-based competition show in partnership with Simon Cowell, judges Ricky Martin, Laura Pausini and Alejandro Sanz, are scouting multi-talented teenage boys to join the ultimate Latino boy band. Contestants from the U.S. and Latin America will compete for a spot in “La Banda” and for a coveted recording contract with Sony Music Latin.
The final audition round aired on Sunday where, Mauricio Novoa, Fabyan Sánchez, Brian Gallardo, Próspero Pérez, Nickie Jon Pabón, Elison Joel Morban, José Tunon, José Antonio Monroig, Micke Moreno, Garmandy Candelario, Kevin Gonzales Naranjo and Joseph Picorelli, were selected to continue in the competition.
During the reality show’s second stage, which begins next Sunday, the chosen teens will be divided into groups to show their ability to adapt into the “boy band” concept. The competition will be taken into a whole different level and according to host Alejandra Espinoza, many will be going home.
