Laura Bozzo is still finding a way to come back to America. After completing three years of house arrest, the Peruvian host was finally absolved of all peculation and conspiracy charges in 2006 and 2008. However, her right to travel into the U.S. was never granted back.
Señorita Laura gave an interview to Telmundo’s “Suelta La Sopa” last week, where she specifies that the alleged charges were part of a political strategy and a mistake on her lawyers’ behalf, which she is still paying for. She also took the opportunity to address Presidential Hopeful Hillary Clinton, and ask her to evaluate her case when she becomes President, so she can come back to the country to see her daughter:
“I tell Hillary Clinton, who is also a mom and knows what it’s like and how it hurts to be away from them, to evaluate my case. And hopefully she can give me a Visa.”
The controversial TV personality also mentioned that she that she has a lot of faith, and prays to “La Virgen de Guadalupe” to reunite her with her daughter: “I have asked my “Virgencita de Guadalupe” to be able to go back in for my daughter, for my audience, for my people.”
When she was asked about the possibility of Donald Trump becoming the next President of the United States of America she replied: “I’m not worried about Donald Trump, the next President of the United States is Hillary Clinton.”
