Former actress Meghan Markle is said to be afraid of her sister-in-law Kate Middleton’s visit to America in December.
The Duchess of Sussex is reportedly planning big to counter the popularity of the Princess of Wales, reported The News. Kate, who is set to visit the U.S. with her husband Prince William next month, is said to be more than twice as popular as Meghan in America.
According to a recent survey, William’s wife is more popular than the "Suits" star in America. The survey revealed that a majority of Americans believe that Kate embodies everything that they expect in a Princess destined to become Queen. The qualities include grace, beauty, regal bearing and the ability to connect with the people. Following these revelations, Meghan has reportedly made a big plan to win Americans and beat her sister-in-law's popularity ahead of her visit to Boston next month.
There are also reports that Kate wants to meet Meghan and Prince Harry during the U.S. trip.
As for Harry and his wife, they were recently named for the Ripple of Hope award. They will take the award at a gala in the U.S. organized by the Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights Foundation. According to the organization, they are being awarded for their work "advancing the global dialogue around mental health, supporting Afghan refugees in the US, investing in Ukraine aid organizations."
Harry and Meghan's charitable credentials were "fantasy laced with persuasion," said royal biographer Angela Levin.
Meanwhile, William and Kate will be in Boston for the Earthshot Prize, which was created by the Prince of Wales. It is to find and grow the solutions that will repair the planet. Its second annual awards ceremony is taking place on Dec. 2. PEOPLE reported that Kate and William will also celebrate the "inspiring" city for their work on addressing the impacts of climate change and building a resilient future during their trip.
The couple have made previous visits to the U.S. But their Boston trip will mark their first since 2014. At the time, they were in New York. Their first visit to the U.S. together was to Los Angeles shortly after they exchanged wedding vows in 2011.
