MTV's Video Music Awards is upon us and we are stoked to see what will happen this year when the award show airs Aug. 30. We're especially excited to see what Miley Cyrus has in store for us as the ex-Disney starlet will be in charge of hosting duties again.

The network today revealed its list of nominees and it should come as no surprise that Taylor Swift is at the top spot with nine nods. Beyoncé comes in at a close second with seven Moonman nods, while Ed Sheeran’s got himself six. The rest of the list is pretty predictable with Nicki Minaj’s “Anaconda,” Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars’ “Uptown Funk.” Surprisingly we are at a loss at not seeing at least one Latino artist on the nom list and it's not like MTV didn't have any choices. What about Prince Royce, Romeo Santos or Fifth Harmony just to name a few.
