Five years after releasing her album "Seducción," Myriam Hernandez prepares to make her comeback. The Chilean singer/songwriter is currently working on a new album to let fans that she has not gone anywhere!

The 50-year-old star, who currently resides in Chile, is best known for her hit singles such as "El Hombre Que Yo Amo" and "Huele a Peligro." In 2011, her album "Seducción" ---which includes duets with artists such as Marco Antonio Solis--- was nominated for Best Female Pop Vocal Album. Shakira's "Sale El Sol" nabbed the title that year. At the third annual La Musa Awards, Hernandez, alongside Diego Torres, Rita Moreno, Alejandra Guzmán, and more, was inducted into the Latin Songwriters Hall of Fame, a milestone she never imagined, according to Billboard.

Myriam's upcoming album is set for release in 2016.
