It has been more than a month since he "Naruto Shippuden" manga ended on Nov. 10. In its place, manga creator Masashi Kishimoto's latest endeavor known as "Naruto New Era Opening Project," or the "Naruto Shin Jidai Kaimaku Project," is well underway. As 2014 comes to an end, new reports regarding Kishimoto's plans for 2015 are surfacing.
First, a new manga cover-art for "Naruto no Senaka: Nakama no Kiseki," or "Naruto's Back: The Tracks of the Pals," was unveiled at the Studio Pierrot booth at Jump Festa 2015 over the weekend. The new "Naruto's Back" manga arc will start where "Naruto Shippuden" left off. "Naruto no Senaka" is scheduled to arrive in January 2015.
The "Naruto no Senaka" manga is also somewhat of a preview ahead of yet another upcoming Naruto anime movie titled "Boruto: Naruto the Movie," which will tell the story of Naruto's son Bolt. While the "Boruto" movie isn't slated to arrive in theaters until August 2015, the film is already receiving a lot of buzz thanks to a really awesome manga panel teaser featuring Naruto giving his little boy a pep talk.
"You may be having a tough time, too, but you'll have to learn to put up with it," Naruto says to his boy in the teaser. "Because you are a ninja too." Below the manga panel, the caption reads, "A new era begins--"
Stay tuned in the months ahead as we learn more about the January "Naruto no Senaka: Nakama no Kiseki" release date and the upcoming "Baruto" movie in August.
