Since her departure on the CBS hit series "NCIS" fans have wondered if Ziva, played by Cote de Pablo, will return to the show. Recently the actress teased fans of her return in a video clip saying "there is always hope for Tiva." This article contains spoilers about season 12 of the series. Read on at your own risk.
While promoting her new project "The Dovekeepers," Cote indulges fans on Twitter by answering their questions via Yahoo TV.
In the video, Cote de Pablo says she does miss working on "NCIS," adding she talks to Michael Weatherly who plays Tony DiNozzo and Brian Dietzen who plays Jimmy Palmer "all the time." Cote also mentions Rocky Carroll who plays Leon Vance reaching out. On her thoughts about Tiva, the couple name for Tony and Ziva, Cote said, "there is always hope" for the romantic characters.
Ziva David's exit was told in the first couple of episodes of season 11 of "NCIS." Unlike other characters Ziva was not killed so that left a window open for her return. However, Tony moves on from Ziva and starts a new relationship in season 12 with ATF Agent Zoe Keates (Marisol Nichols). While Pablo does not say why she's hopeful for a Tiva reunion she does tell fans the showrunners may still give Tiva a closure.
