It was a really rough week for a handful of teams in the NFL. Even though we still have a wide majority of the season remaining, numerous squads suffered devastating losses in Week 5.

Here are five teams that had the worst week.

1. New York Giants

A promising 2-0 start is a thing of the past. Eli Manning looks more lost than ever before, and now the Giants sit at the bottom of the NFC East as the only team in the division with a losing record. The Giants have huge injuries to their running backs, they are getting no pressure whatsoever on the quarterback, and they are not finishing drives effectively. It’s going to take a lot to turn this Giants team around.

2. Baltimore Ravens

News recently broke out that the Ravens fired offensive coordinator Marc Trestman. It worked for the Bills, right? The Ravens lost a game they should have won against the Washington Redskins at home, and the Pittsburgh Steelers extended their record to 4-1. This loss wouldn’t seem so devastating if the Ravens didn’t make coaching decisions afterwards, but we’ll just have to see if that proves to be a wise decision.

3. New York Jets

The Jets are finished. Their season is over. Now 1-4, Todd Bowles has to start thinking about the future. Ryan Fitzpatrick has been a disaster this season, and the secondary has been absolutely dreadful ranking 31st in passing yards allowed . On top of that, Darrelle Revis is out with a hamstring injury. And to make matters even more frustrating, The New England Patriots are 4-1 while the Buffalo Bills have won three consecutive games.

4. Houston Texans

It’s not the end of the world, but an 18-point loss against the Minnesota Vikings isn’t what fans wanted to see. The Texans benefit from playing in a terrible AFC South division, but that alone won’t get the job done. Brock Osweiler isn’t exactly playing like a $72 million quarterback, which doesn’t bode well for the future. The Texans can get can back on track, but they had a bad week.

5. Cincinnati Bengals

The Bengals never even came close to beating the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday. Marvin Lewis’ squad is now 2-3, and you could argue this has been one of more disappointing teams in the league this season. If the Bengals don’t get their act together soon, they can kiss the AFC North goodbye.
