Netflix's new content for June has been revealed and the list is extensive! The streaming service will bring more than 50 new TV shows, documentaries, movies and comedy specials to audiences all over the world. Although we'll see new seasons of "Scandal" and "Pretty Little Liars" users are most excited for the third season of "Orange is the New Black." It's been a full year since we last seen the show and fans are eagerly waiting to see whats in store for the ladies at Litchfield Prison in this new season. The wait is almost over but until then check out these top 15 things you should know before "OITNB" returns to Netflix.
1. "Orange is the New Black" is returning to Netflix June 12 and there will be a total of 14 episodes in season three.
2. The episodes titles have been revealed and are as followed: "It's the Great Blumpkin, Charlie Brown," "I'm a Bitch Because I'm Sad," "Sometimes Bad Things Happen to Bad People," "The Great Hate Fuck," "Kids: Yum!," "Offended But Okay," "Back to the Rape Well," "Use Your Tears As Lube," "Heroin Robin Hood," "The Rapiest Pap Smear," "Gay Feet," "Never-ending Rumspringa," "Hot for Janitor" and "Great Service, Lovely Scent."
3. "The Fault in Our Stars" actor Mike Birbiglia will be joining the cast, as well as Blair Brown ("Fringe") and Mary Steenburgen ("The Proposal").
4. On the other hand, Jason Biggs who plays Piper's ex-fiance will not be returning for season threealogn with Alysia Reiner, nor will Pablo“Pornstache” Schreiber (who has a role on the HBO comedy "The Brink") and Diane “Ramos” Guerrero will have a more limited role (who has a role on The CW’s "Jane the Virgin").
5. Taystee may find love in the upcoming season. "It's very emotional. It catches [Taystee] off guard,"Danielle Brooks, the actress that plays Taystee, said of the death to Entertainment Weekly. "She definitely goes on another journey with growing pains. We'll find out if she falls in love or if she doesn't," Brooks goes on to say.
6. Natasha Lyonne confirmed that Nicky Nichols is coming back and said the next season will feature "so much bloodshed," while Joe Caputo, who plays Nick Sandow said the Litchfield prison is going to undergo changes what with all the mess that happened in season two.
7. Most of the cast members have already been confirmed to reprise their roles including Taylor Schilling as Piper Chapman, Kate Mulgrew as Red, Uzo Aduba as Crazy Eyes, Laverne Cox as Sophia Burset, Michael Harney as Sam Healy, Laura Prepon as Alex Vause and more.
8. Big Boo revealed! After two whole seasons we will finally get some background on the most outspoken inmate at Litchfield.
9. Daya and Bennet will have lots of drama to deal with! Even though Pornstache was accused of rape and won't return to the series for season three his mom will be coming to the prison. That's sure to spell trouble for the couple and their baby.
10. After a lack of Alex in season two, she's set to return to Litchfield prison and reunite with Piper.
11. Vee, who was hit by a car at the end of season two, has been confirmed as dead by actress Lorraine Touissant. Her death will have a devastating effect on Taystee and a more positive one for Cray Eyes.
12. The plot of season three of "OITNB" has been kept under wraps but we know what the main theme will be. While it's a vague description creator Jenji Koha did reveal that season three will focus on "faith."
13. It has been revealed that model Ruby Rose will be joining the rest of the crew for season three of "Orange is the New Black." Rose will star as Stella Carlin in "OITNB" and her striking looks will attract the attention of both Piper (Taylor Schilling) and Alex (Laura Prepon), Elle magazine reports. With Alex returning due to Piper their reunion may not be a good one. And Rose is sure to cause a rift between the happy couple upon her arrival.
14. Lolly will make her way to Litchfield. While we only met the character briefly, the likeable prisoner from episode one of season two ('Thirsty Bird'), Lori Petty's role was unfortunately very small. Lolly was kind to Piper, they befriended one another and then Piper betrayed her. Many viewers may have hoped to see more of Lolly, and will have their wish granted when Lori Petty returns as a season regular for season three!
15. There will be a lot more nudity in season three. Speaking with The Hollywood Reporter "Orange" showrunner Jenji Kohan said, “If I had my way, I’d have a lot more,” speaking of the nudity in the racy dramedy. Speaking about her desire to showcase a variety of shapes, colors and sizes in the flesh, she said, "We still have this prudish, puritanical culture, and we also have so little exposure to diversity in bodies."
