On Monday, TVNotas published an article accusing Pablo Montero of domestic violence. According to the Mexican magazine, Montero arrived to his home drunk and after a heated discussion slapped wife Carolina Van Wielink.

Problems between the couple began back in June when Carolina found out about Montero’s wild night with four prostitutes in Mexico City. But this is not the first time the “Duelo de Pasiones” actor gets involved in this kind of situation, he has been targeted by the media on multiple occasions due to his substance abuse and playboy life.

During an interview with TVyNovelas, the actor gives his side of the story and declares he would never lay a hand on his wife, “It makes me angry, because I have an education, because I respect, I love them, I adore them, because I have a mother, sisters, two daughters, and I would never do that.”

The Mexican star defended himself by saying that he was showing up, face-to-face to clarify all the rumors, “I am showing my face and Caro will send a message too explaining everything. It is all false, I never laid a hand on her.”

Since he was coming clean, the publication took the opportunity to ask about the prostitutes/exotic dancers to which he replied with: “I told her the truth. 99% of men in Mexico go to places where women dance. I went there to see some friends who are dancers and I was there, they stayed for a while and then they left…nothing happened with either one of them.”

However, when he was asked about his “Ladies Man” status and his multiple infidelities, he said: “Is it my fault that I love them [women] so much?”
