Jorge Salinas Bad Temper
Jorge Salinas' bad temper continues as he snaps at a Peruvian reporter that calls him a different name. Televisa

The arrogance that Jorge Salinas continues to show during interviews promoting "Pasión y Poder" continues to shine through. This time the 47-year-old actor was in Perú doing press for the Televisa production with his co-stars Marlene Favela and Altair Jarabo. As the reporter introduced him he made a goof and said "Jorge Luis Salinas." The Mexican star snapped and quipped by saying, "Maybe Jorge Luis Pila?" (20 second mark) He went on to correct him and direct himself to the viewing audience saying, "I am Jorge Salinas." The interview continued with Salinas even playing around and "acting gay." Could this be his way of getting back at the reporter? This interview had another mistake as Jarabo said she was grateful for being invited to Chile (56 second mark). Problem is, that they were in Perú. Favela saved it by saying that the cast had also been invited to the neighboring country. Watch the video down below!

Jorge Salinas has shown what a terrible attitude he has during his press tour and gets particularly ticked off when he feels that the interviewer doesn't know who he is. While promoting the premiere on Univision, Alan Tacher sat down with the cast to talk about the project. As Tacher was introducing each cast member, he was reading his cards and adding their character names to the mix so the audience got familiar with them. When it came time to intro Salinas, the latter quipped back saying, "do you not know who we are?" He tried to make a joke of it, but that already set the tone to an awkward interview. We don't know if Alan was just nervous by Jorge or what happened, but he did fumble a little on his words. Salinas made the following remark: "My God, three questions to say the same thing? You have me really impressed Alan, I see you are very stressed out."

The tension didn't end there, in a separate clip on YouTube, Jorge Salinas was explaining his character in the José Alberto Castro production when Alan cut him off, not in a rude way, but in acknowledging that he was understanding his character description. This did not go well with Mr. Salinas who told him, "I'm telling you, that's why I'm telling you, don't listen to the producer." His co-stars Susana Gonzalez just observed in silence, while Fernando Colunga just couldn't believe that Jorge was getting out of control. There was another instance where Salinas snapped at a reporter that touched his pregnant wife's belly, that made him attack him. We wonder if this is not all just a way of getting people to talk about this telenovela that is not doing great in numbers in both México and the U.S.
