Nintendo and the Pokémon company have announced remakes to the popular Ruby and Sapphire games titled, “Pokémon Omega Ruby” and “Pokémon Alpha Sapphire,” which will be coming to the 3DS and 2DS consoles this November.

Seeing as Pokémon Red and Blue plus Pokémon Gold and Silver have all been remade and relaunched, it’s no surprise Ruby and Sapphire are getting the same treatment.

Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire originally launched for the Nintendo Game Boy Advance back in 2003. The game introduced the new region of Hoenn and a wealth of new Pokémon.

According to a press release from Nintendo and The Pokémon Co. International, each game will be a "new adventure" that takes place in a "spectacular new world." The most recent Pokémon games are “Pokémon X” and “Pokémon Y,” which were released last October on 3DS.

While virtually no details have been revealed for the title we can assume the graphics will be based on the latest Pokémon games.
