A ton of new information regarding "Pokémon X" and "Pokémon Y" has been revealed including Diancie's arrival to the titles as well its Mega Evolve. The legendary jewel Pokémon will land on consoles this fall from participating GameStop locations. According to Hardcore Gamer's website players will only be able to download Diancie for X & Y and only Mega Evolve it once it arrives to "Pokémon Alpha Sapphire" and "Pokémon Omega Ruby."
The third generation remakes have an official release date set for Nov. 21, so gamers should expect Diancie on or around that date. More details will come as the time draws closer. According to Serebii, the CoroCoro leaks this month has revealed Mega Diancie's ability, which will be Magic Bounce, the same ability shared by another new Mega Evolution, Mega Sableye.
Magic Bounce which makes any status or stat-lowering effects repel off you and hit the attacker. Mega Diancie also has increased speed, attack and special attack however gets both its defenses lowered. This will definitely be useful against Dark, Fighting and Dragon type Pokémon. Furthermore, Diancie will make its formal introduction in the latest Pokémon movie, "Diancie & the Cocoon of Destruction" so expect more news about this jewel Pokémon in the upcoming months.
With the announcements about Diancie it got us wondering about those other new Pokémon that were leaked with it. Late 2013 a leak revealed that "Pokémon X and Y" would see three new mon. This included Diancie, a Psychic/Ghost Pokémon named Hoopa and finally Volcanion who is a Fire/Water type. While we have gotten some information on Diancie in the last couple of months news regarding the other two Pokémon has been silent.
Perhaps the other two will receive more attention after Diancie, "Pokémon Alpha Sapphire" and "Pokémon Omega Ruby" are announced this fall but we will have to wait and see.
