The Pokemon Company has released a new trailer for "Pokemon X and Y" showcasing the highly-anticipated features the Pokemon Bank and the Poke Transporter. Not only does the trailer showcase how the features will work but also gives gamers a release date. Pokemon Bank, the stand-alone Nintendo 3DS app that allows "Pokemon X and Y" players to transfer and store Pokemon online, will be available Dec. 27. The Poke Bank is a Nintendo 3DS exclusive app that allows gamers to store and manage their online Pokemon collection.

The app lets gamers store up to 3,000 of their favorite Pokemon in private boxes in the cloud system. Players will be able to move Pokemon effortlessly and easy From "Pokemon X and Y" to the Pokemon Bank. It is also easier to view your Pokemon thanks to the advance filtering system. Pokemon Bank comes with Poke Transporter, which allows long term Pokemon fans to transfer Pokemon to the new game going all the way back to the 2011 Pokemon games "Pokemon Black" and "Pokemon White."

With the new Poke Transporter it is much easier to transport your old favorite Pokemon to the new Kalos region. Players who download the Pokemon Bank app from the Nintendo 3DS eShop by Jan. 31, 2013, will be able to use the new feature free for a 30-day trial, after which point they will be required to pay a $4.99 annual subscription fee.
