According to a famous Spanish futurologist, Conchita Hurtado, 2014 is the year when Shakira and soccer player boyfriend Gerard Piqué will end their relationship. Hurtado spoke to Bang Showbiz and revealed her predictions for this year, in which love will reign in many celebrity couples, except for the Colombian singer and the FC Barcelona defender. So, why are the two going to call it quits? Conchita predicts it’s because the 36-year-old “Waka Waka” singer will pressure her much younger boyfriend to settle down.

She added that the level of commitment Shakira will require from Piqué will clash with the soccer star’s independent character, which will cause issues between them, eventually leading to a breakup. Hurtado added that the Colombian diva is still very much in love with her boyfriend, and father of her son Milán, but their days as an item are counted. Only time will tell if her predictions are true or not, but for now, they don’t seem accurate. The couple recently spent the holidays with their son in Piqué’s hometown and rumors have been circulating that Shakira might be expecting baby number two, which wouldn’t come as a surprise since she has been outspoken about wanting a big family with her gorgeous boyfriend.
