The "Super Smash Bros." roster is ever growing and with the recent announcement of Robin, Lucina and Captain Falcon it seems like the fighters to be included in these Nintendo titles will top all others in the franchise. All these newcomers are probably the most exciting news coming from "Super Smash Bros." Nintendo has announced more than 10 new fighters for the game and there are still several months to go before it actually launches. Check out all the new fighters Nintendo has announced for "Super Smash Bros." Wii U and 3DS below:

Newcomers

Greninja - This Pokémon made its debut as the Water starter in the 3DS title "Pokémon X" and "Pokémon Y." Greninja is a Water/Dark type and the final evolved form of Froakie. From the trailer showcasing Greninja we can tell this bipedal, frog-like Pokémon is swift, agile and powerful. Some of the fighters moves include water weapons and more.

Little Mac - Little Mac first made his appearance in the game "Punch-Out!!." Mac is a small guy but packs a powerful punch, which when charged up in the game can actually be a one-hit KO. Mac also has access to Giga Mac as his Final Smash.

Lucina - Lucina is one of the newest fighters revealed for the title. She is a character from "Fire Emblem Awakening." She is the daughter of Chrom who came back from the future to stop the fell dragon Grima. Check out Lucina and Robin take on Captain Falcon in the trailer below:

Mega Man - Mega-Man was one of the first new fighters announced for "Super Smash Bros." for Wii U and 3DS. According to Masahiro Sakurai the fighter will only have one normal melee attack, the Mega Upper. His primary form of attack will come from his Mega Buster making him one formidable ranged fighter.

Mii Fighters - This one caught a lot of fans by surprise. Instead of introducing a character from another Nintendo franchise the games creator revealed that "Super Smash Bros." for Wii U and 3DS will include your very own Mii's into battle. Sakurai revealed that there are three types of fighter including: Mii Brawler, Mii Swordfighter and Mii Gunner. Each will have its own fighting style and selection of several special moves. It was revealed that the Mii's customized look will determine how they play through the game.

Pac-Man - Pac-Man is one of three fighters to come from a third-party series. Pinky, Inky, Blinky and Clyde are also featured, but only as an attack for Pac-Man, Stage Hazards for the Maze stage for the 3DS, and perhaps even an Assist Trophy in the Wii U version.

Palutena- Palutena will make her fighting debut on "Super Smash Bros." for Wii U and 3DS! Originally from the "Kid Icarus" series Palutena is the Goddess of Light and Ruler of Sky World. Being a goddess has it perks, Palutena's Final Smash is one of the furthest reaching in the game.

Robin - Robin is from the Fire Emblem" franchise and is a main character for "Fire Emblem: Awakening." In "Super Smash Bros." Robin will be able to switch from male to female and uses two different forms of fighting including magic and sword attacks.

Rosalina & Luma - Rosalina is from "Super Mario Galaxy" and fights with her sidekick Luma in the upcoming Smash Bros. game.

Villager - The Villager is a character from the "Animal Crossing" franchise. He is also the very first character to become a fighter for the Smash Bros. series. Like Robin players will be able to switch between a male and female villager with different appearances, clothing and hairstyles.

Wii Fit Trainer - Last but not least is the Wii Fit Trainer who will use techniques from Yoga and more to battle it out with some of your favorite Nintendo characters. Like Robin and the villager, the Wii Fit Trainer will have an alternate costume in the form of a different gender.

A few changes to the veteran fighters have been made including Bowser and Yoshi standing upright now, which will make then move faster. Also Samus and Zelda's alternate characters Sheik and Zero Suit are now standalone fighters and will now have their own fighting styles, final smash's and more.
