TV Azteca is getting rid of most of its popular shows! Is the network in trouble? TV Azteca

Things are not looking good for TV Azteca, which announced earlier this year that they might stop producing telenovelas due to their soap operas not generating sufficient profit and losing money. In fact, things are so bad, that the Mexican network, which is the second largest mass media company in Mexico, has released a statement announcing that it's getting rid of some of its entertainment programs.

"Raquel y Daniel" starring Daniel Bisogno and Raquel Bigorra will go off air on October 31st. However, it's rumored that the show might run until December, according to TVNotas. TV show "Ellas Arriba," which has been on air for a little over a year, is also expected to air its last episode ending of the month. The popular "Glee" TV series and "Deporteando" will also go off air at the end of October. TV shows "Los 25+" and "Hasta mañana es lunes" will be off air after the first week of November.

Meanwhile, shows such as "La Isla," "Mexico tiene talento," "Ventaneando," "Hechos Espectáculos," "La Resolana" and "Cosas de la Vida" will continue airing in TV Azteca. According to a statement released by the network, 2016 will include new shows that will meet audience and advertising demands.
