With a unique heritage from both Latin America and Europe, Venezuelan sisters Claudia Giardinella and Flavia Giardinella decided to bring together their passion, expertise in fashion and art and create a brand that was a reflection of modern art.

Founded in in 2015, artTECA – which is the combination of art and the Ancient Latin term “teca” that means gallery - boosts a beautifully curated collection of limited edition pieces, each made of luxurious fabrics and printed with exclusive contemporary art.

Each piece is a collaboration with celebrated artists to create limited edition prints that are exclusively found at artTECA. This women's ready-to-wear apparel and accessory brand offers an exclusive collection of pieces that are printed with limited edition artwork by contemporary artists from around the globe, fusing art and, while also making an impact in education with each purchase made with the company’s art education program.

All the designs of this Miami-based brand are limited edition because, according to the artTECA founders, each woman is unique. Using exquisite and high quality silk, the design team in collaboration with emerging contemporary artists uses digital prints to create one of kind pieces. “We have artists from Latin America and the U.S.,” said Claudia Giardinella. “And we are also introducing artists from other parts of the world.”

“We work with the artists and review their entire artwork roster,” said Flavia Giardinella. “We take the images and then we create the textile pattern and then we digitally print the fabrics.” Even though the artTECA novel collection is silk, the brand also ventures with other fabrics like rayon and other fabrics that soon will be announced.

Taking care of any detail, like colors and quality of the image, is possible to find in the collection from scarfs to pants, and even kimonos. “We want people to think of our brand as an accessory to elevate all your basics,” said Claudia. “Your denim, your black and white tops, your purse, everything will give you a different look.”
