A family in Texas is claiming they have finally caught the legendary 'Chupacabra,' the mythic, blood-sucking animal that feasts on sheep and goats. According to KAVU-TV, Jackie Stock said that she and her husband, Arlen Parma, have captured the first live example of this legendary creature. "He called me to come and look and I said, 'Bubba that looks like a baby chupacabra,'" she told the station. The creature looks pretty fierce, but whether its the mythical creature hasn't been confirmed. In the meantime, here are 5 Fast Chupacabra Facts.

1. The First Sighting Was in Puerto Rico. The first reported attack of the Cupacabra occurred in March 1995 in Puerto Rico. Eight sheep were discovered dead with three puncture wounds in the chest area and completely drained of blood. In August of that year, a woman named Madelyne Tolentino reported that she saw the strange, fierce creature in the Puerto Rican town of Canóvanas, when as many as 150 farm animals and pets were reportedly killed.

2. No One Is Sure What It Looks Like. Descriptions of the Chupacabra are often very different. There are often two very different descriptions of the chupacabras. The most common description of the chupacabra is that of a reptile-like creature, appearing to have leathery or scaly greenish-gray skin and sharp spines or quills running down its back. More recently, another description of the chupacabras has emerged and it describes a strange breed of wild dog.

3. It's Been Reported All Over Latin America. Since the first sighting in 1995, 'El Chupacabras' has been sighted all over Latin America, including Mexico, Guatemala, Bolivia, Chile, Peru and Brazil. Most recently, in 2009, the chupacabras made its first appearance in Colombia. After several dead animals were found near that town of Soracá with their blood drained, residents have reported it to be the work of the mysterious chupacabras.

4. Some Say Its A Myth. In late October 2010, Barry O'Connor, a biologis from the University of Michigan, concluded that all the chupacabras reports in the United States were simply coyotes infected with the parasite Saracoptes sabiei, the symptoms of which would explain most of the features of the chupacabras: they would be left with little fur, thickened skin, and rank odour.

5. The Chupacabras Has Been Seen in Russia. n April 2006, "MosNews" reported that the chupacabras was spotted in Russia for the first time. Reports beginning in March 2005 tell of a beast that kills animals and sucks out their blood. 32 turkeys were killed and drained overnight. Reports later came from neighboring villages when 30 sheep were killed and had their blood drained.
