In the season finale of "Game of Thrones" entitled "Mhysa," the Lannisters discover that their plan to kill King of the North, Robb Stark was successfully carried out by the Twins. The Lannisters and the Freys conspired and have killed Robb, Catelyn, and Talisa, although Tyrion reminds his father, "the Northerners will never forget this."
In King's Landing, Tywin has more trouble to contend with then just the Northerners. King Joffrey attempts to challenge his grandfather, Tywin. Stannis and his followers at Dragonstone will meet a new fate, as Dany enters Yunkai and surveys her new city.
HBO's official synopsis for episode 10 reads, "Joffrey challenges Tywin. Bran tells a ghost story. In Dragonstone, mercy comes from strange quarters. Dany waits to see if she is a conqueror or a liberator."
