Vanessa Huppenkothen has been linked to Cristiano Ronaldo after he allegedly set his eyes on her to be his next girlfriend. The 29-year-old Televisa Deportes personality quickly debunked rumors on Twitter when news broke. "I don't have the pleasure of knowing the current Ballon d'Or," she wrote on the social network. Huppenkothen was referring to the award the 30-year-old soccer star received for his standout performance in his profession. It was on Sunday night's broadcast of sports show "La Jugada" ("The Play") where Vanessa was teased by her fellow co-hosts about the gossip around her possible new relationship wuth the Real Madrid striker. "I think maybe Vanessa wants to tell us something," Javier Alarcón said when he introduced the blonde beauty and co-host Marisol González.
Marisol González quickly replied and said, "I am gossiping here with her [Huppenkothen] to see what she tells me." Vanessa then took the spotlight and said: "I really don't have anything to say, I don't know anybody that they are relating me to and I continue with my life and with my job." As Vanessa said these words she was seemingly nervous looking around and her voice kind of shaky. This must not be a good position for the Televisa Deportes star to be in, but it was very brave of her to address the issue publicly for the rumors to stop or maybe this will only ignite them more. What if she was actually nervous because she has been caught? What was even more awkward is that Miguel Gurwitz is part of the commentators and he was previously linked to Vanessa.
