Just over two weeks ago, ABC revealed that Marvel's "Agent Carter" would not return to the network for a third season.

Both actors Hayley Atwell (who plays Peggy Carter) and Dominic Cooper (who plays Howard Stark), however, want "Agent Carter" to be revived. In fact, Cooper recently said that he has "no doubt" that Carter and Stark will be back, reports IGN.

In an interview with Evening Standard, Cooper said Carter and Stark are two characters that are "really exciting to watch," and that he believes they will "come back somehow." The show could be revived on another network or the characters could appear on a "different type of show" altogether, but he is sure fans will "see them again somewhere."

"There's something inside me that definitely says [Stark's] not over with," Cooper said. "I adore playing him, he's great fun."

Meanwhile, Atwell wants the show back too and has said she would do virtually anything to revive the series. During a panel at MegaCon in Orlando, Florida, Atwell said she was 100 percent into bringing the characters back to life, reports io9.

"I'd shoot on the weekends. Blue serum. Whatever it takes," Atwell said, according to a fan in the audience.

According to the audience member, Atwell further went on to say, "We're just going to have to have another season to figure it all out."

While this is obviously not an official statement revealing the series return, it is nice to know that the actors want to give Peggy Carter and crew a proper send off.

The first season debuted back in February 2015 and consisted of eight episodes, while the second season had 10 and aired from January 2016 to March 2016. Both seasons aired during the mid-season break of the other Marvel and ABC series, "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D."

Despite "Agent Carter's" positive critical response, the series seen a steadily decreased-to-low viewership, which, in turn, caused the network to cancel the show on May 12, 2016.
