Alejandro Sanz is one happy daddy as his wife Raquel Perera has given birth to the couple's second child. The Spanish singer's former assistant gave birth to a baby girl they have called Alma. The child was born on Thursday evening at the Ruber International hospital in Madrid. According to Hola it was a natural childbirth and the new mommy would be able to return home by Monday or sooner. Alma joins her older brother Dylan, who was born in New York 3 years ago. Sanz has two other children from his previous relationships. Eldest daughter Manuela Sánchez Michel from his marriage to fashion model Regina Iliana Ruvalcaba is about to turn 13 and son Alexander from Puerto Rican fashion designer Valeria Rivera.

The "Amores Verdaderos" theme song vocalist recently announced a collaboration with eBay that would have the consumer-to-consumer site selling his fashion line called Rosas and Beats. The collection was designed with his wife Raquel and encompasses 25-pieces with bold graphics and slogans like "Mr. Sanz" on t-shirts. Part of the proceeds from the sale of these items will go to the Save The Children foundation that promotes children's rights and support children in developing countries. Sanz is working on his new studio album and recently broke his silence over the situation in Gaza. "I am sorry, I'm breaking my silence for an internal scream 'peace for Palestine.' I will continue with my silence," he wrote on Twitter.

He later updated on his recording session and wrote: "Well, I am going to lock myself up in the studio. I will disappear for a while. I will continue here but I will not write much. I need the time and the concentration. I want to make the album that you deserve." As far as growing the family after Alma he said: "We are very happy and wishing that the baby girl be with us, she has not been born yet and she has already revolutionized our lives. I don't think we will have more, we are more than enough to play mus and we can say we have accomplished the objective."
